So – my 35mm F\/2 lens is kind of broken now. The light meter in the cam does not work with it, which does not stop me shooting, but it is certainly annoying. So I bid on eBay for a 24mm f\/2, only two lose by \u00c2\u00a35 with two seconds (TWO SECONDS) to go. The current bid with 30 seconds to go was \u00c2\u00a398.00, I slapped on a huge proxy bid of \u00c2\u00a3171, only for some guy from the Russian Federation to raise my bid with two seconds on the clock.<\/p>\n

But long story short, I found another lens the next day and won it for \u00c2\u00a3148. It was meant to be I tell you.<\/p>\n

I have a roll of neopan 1600 sitting in my cam at the moment, so I’ll be using that up this weekend with the 24mm. Happy times. I still want to get my 35mm fixed, though. Never used a 24mm before, but as things stand, 35mm is home.<\/p>\n

So yeah, Kevin Thom<\/a> was over from Canada a few weekends ago. Good to see him again. Took a photo of him in the men’s toilets of a pub while my flies were open, that will come up at some point.<\/p>\n
