The New Year’s Day parade

January 4th, 2007 by James

Went to the New Year’s Day parade with Tanya. Left the EOS 3 at home because I couldn’t be bothered to rewind and remove the roll of 3200 speed Tri-x that was in there for the umpteenth time. Took my Nikon FM but didn’t use it because the batteries were dead. So I had the 20D and 100mm 2.8. Why only that? Because I never use it. So I forced myself to use it.

Not being able to use either of my film cams made me feel ‘off’… I’m just not into digi. But hey here are some casual shots.

Happy or sad?

I thought these were awesome. Anyone for a race?

This girl had one guy point his camera at her for like, a whole minute while they were standing still. You’ve gotta be conscious of that. It must have driven her nuts.
